Or how to build your own car
So now he can rust (Zo nu kan ie roesten) is a documentary about the Dutch designer Alex den Braver who designs his own car. This is a long time wish for den Braver. From a technical point of view, he decides to use the chassis of an old Mercedes. He strips the car completely except for the chassis and the motor block. He makes all kinds of adjustment, and after redesigning parts of the motor, he begins with the construction of his new car.
A process of ups and downs
Den Braver is monitored by the camera throughout the process, which takes more than a year. There are technical ups and downs throughout the building process. But the final result is a wonderful and unique car made from COR-TEN steel and wood.
Despite the fact that the documentary is in Dutch and lacks English subtitles, the creation of this unique car is easy to follow.
