About me

Look through my eyes and see the world is a blog about everything I stumble upon.  So it is actually a blog about my life, about being a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a parent, a photographer, a traveler, a sound collector, a visual artist, a documentary maker, a Peter Hess sound therapist, a Corgi lover, a cook, a gardener, a hiker and more…

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

Steve Jobs

Let’s make a blog. That thought has been going through my mind on and off during the last year.  But I never took the time to sit down and really think it over.  Every time there was something else that caught my attention and no actions followed the initial idea.  But now, on the 3th month of the new year, I did sit down and all of sudden I am building a blog.  A blog about the ups and downs and the in-betweens of life.  First of all I am writing it for myself, as some sort of ego document.  As our mind is quite selective we only tend to remember certain things and forget others.  Writing for me is a way to keep thoughts flowing so they will not stagnate and create a life of their own.  I will remember things better as they really were and not what they have become in my head.  Secondly I want to share my thoughts, experiences and other things that will happen in the year to come. What new chances will show up, which problems are there to be solved and how is this blog going to become something valuable in my life and maybe yours…
